Ping brings over 15 years of corporate tax and finance management experience plus 5 years of client service and business development. Ping’s background is in Big 4 Accounting with industry clients in financial services, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, media, pharmaceutical, retail, telecommunication, and not-for-profit sectors. Ping serves as an Assistant Vice President for Robert Half’s accounting and finance consulting division, Management Resources. Within this role, externally, he works with executive clients in the areas of accounting and finance. Internally, he manages client relationships, marketing, implementation of strategies for revenue growth, as well as development and execution of key strategic initiatives for his team’s operations.
Ping is passionate about giving back to the community and is an active board member and volunteer of various local and national nonprofit organizations. He is also a mentor to students at: Drexel, Penn State, OSU, Rutgers and Temple.
Ping earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Drexel University and his Master of Business Administration from Keller Management School of Business. Ping is fluent in Cantonese and proficient in Mandarin. Ping met his wife on their first day of college at Drexel University. They live in Bucks County with two children and their dogs, Max and Cody.

Cindy is a versatile senior executive with extensive financial and operational expertise in service, distribution, manufacturing and health care industries in both public and private companies. Currently, she is the CFO for Quaker Valley Foods, a large privately held company that specializes in food distribution. Cindy was the recipient of the 2015 CFO of the Year for medium size companies awarded by the Philadelphia Business Journal for financial accomplishments, leadership, respect, and community involvement.
Cindy is active in her community with over 15 years of not-for-profit board experience. She co-founded the Greater Philadelphia Cantonese Academy in Rosemont, PA. The School promotes the understanding of Chinese culture, heritage and experiences in the US. Cindy also has served on the board of professional organizations, mentored young professionals and college students and spoken at various events.
Born in Hong Kong, Cindy is fluent in Chinese. She has strong ties to Philadelphia where she attended the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, began her career in Public Accounting and earned her CPA designation. She later progressed her finance career into the private industry, where she held senior financial management and CFO positions before her current position at Quaker Valley Foods. Cindy lives with her husband in Delaware County where they raised three young adult children. The entire family enjoys traveling together.

Tommy serves as a Senior Advisor at SVN | The Concordis Group, as well as, a Director with SVN’s National Corporate Real Estate Services team. He posses over eight years of experience, with the last four in exclusive tenant representation and advisory.
A licensed real estate professional, Tommy focuses on office and industrial tenant representation, property sales, and strategic planning. Some of his corporate and government clients include Medtronic, Benefits Data Trust, Pennsylvania Lumbermens Mutual Insurance Company, LapCorp, Aegis Project Controls, Iroko Pharmaceuticals, Philadelphia Gas Works, Philadelphia Housing Authority, Urban Affairs Coalition, and more. Tommy’s experience also includes advisory in the new FASB & IASB lease accounting standards that will be taking effect in 2019.
Tommy is a graduate of Temple University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. During his undergraduate studies, he was a member of the men’s lacrosse team.

Sunnaret (Sunny) Eang is a Client Advisor for J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank in the Mid-Atlantic region. She and her team advise high net worth families, private business owners and foundations on wealth management strategies, including portfolio construction, estate planning, credit and tax-efficient investment management.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, she spent four years at BNY Mellon Wealth Management as a Wealth Manager servicing families with investment and wealth management needs. Previously, Sunny spent five years as an Associate at Brown Brothers Harriman, a privately held investment company, where she serviced multi-generational families.
Sunny holds a B.A. in Economics from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance also from Rutgers University. She holds a Series 7 & 63 securities licenses, and is currently pursuing her Certified Financial Planner CFP® designation.
Sunny is on the Board of the Cambodian Association of Greater Philadelphia, volunteers her time with non-profit organizations focusing on youth education and development, and has volunteered at local food pantries. Sunny is also a Junior Member at The Union League of Philadelphia.
Sunny lives in Center City, Philadelphia. She enjoys international travel, learning about different cultures, and trying new food. During her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, cooking, photography, yoga, learning the guitar, and spending time with her niece and two nephews.

Cari is a Manager of Sales Operations for Comcast Business. Her career has been predominantly been in implementing CRM systems – Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics CRM. She has a degree in Marketing from Drexel University and certifications in Salesforce, Six Sigma, and Corporate Brand Reputation Management. Her industry experience includes Academia, Banking and Financial Services, Non-Profit, and Telecommunications. She is a New York City native and is passionate about mentorship, diversity and inclusion, women in STEM, and music and fine arts education.
During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to live theatre and concerts, and trying new restaurants.

Miriam has over 12 years of experience as a data, analytics, and automation specialist in the Digital Risk Solutions practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She specializes in providing insight into challenges that client face today. Utilizing the latest tools in data mining, visualization, and robotics, she helps clients explore data and easily digest complex information. She provides clients a path to repeatable solutions, self-service BI, and standardized data methodologies that can be leveraged across platforms. Miriam has helped clients across multiple industries develop strategic long-term data analytics vision, implement repeatable procedures through automation that improves productivity and reduces costs, construct key performance metric definition and reporting, and address compliance with handling of high risk and sensitive data.
As a recipient of the United Way 2017 Women’s Leadership Initiative Next Generation Leader Award, Miriam serves as the Philadelphia Pan Asian Community leader and Risk Assurance Women’s Committee Program Leader at PwC. She sits on the Board Development Committee for Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania and Executive Committee for National Association of Asian American Professionals Philadelphia Chapter. Miriam graduated from Pennsylvania State University Smeal School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems.

Yi has lived most of his life in the Philadelphia area. He graduated from Central High School and studied Accounting and Economics at Temple University. He proceeded to work in Public Accounting (Grant Thornton) where he earned his CPA. He continued his corporate career at Comcast, working in the accounting group for the first 3 years and then moving into Finance Operations (6+years). He currently lives in Montgomery County with his wife and two children.

Shawn is responsible for the Go to Market activities for Xfinity Mobile and for executing marketing efforts to gain new customers and maintain current subscriber base. Previously, Shawn has worked for Deloitte, Rohm & Haas company (now Dow Chemical) and McNeil Consumer & Specialty Pharmaceuticals. Shawn holds an International MBA and Masters in Marketing from Temple University and a Bachelors in Business Administration from Drexel University. Shawn was one of the founding committee leads for Asian Pacific Americans employee resource group and currently serves as the APA Lead. Sapna is originally from Lansdale, PA and currently resides in Philadelphia, PA. She received her B.S. and M.S. in Information Systems and Technology with a minor in Business Administration at Drexel University. Sapna started off her career at Pricewaterhouse Coopers in the Risk Assurance group executing IT audits on financial systems then transitioned to Comcast as a Project Manager/Business Analyst in the Financial Applications Management group. She was involved with managing projects and the intake process for enhancements related to the Accounts Payable and Procurement modules in Oracle. In May 2016, Sapna transitioned to another group at Comcast, National Customer Operations. She currently manages projects and the intake process for speech analytics requests. Sapna works closely with the vendor, Nexidia, to provide call drivers to the requestors.
Sapna has held positions on several organizations including Comcast Asian Pacific American (APA) group, Ascend, and Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT). Sapna also has been dancing since the age of 5 and currently teaches and performs Indian classical and Bollywood dance in the Philadelphia area.

Jessica is a Marketing Leader with more than a decade of successful experience. Currently, Jessica is the Senior Marketing Communications Manager for Comcast. In this role, she is responsible for the development and execution of all integrated communication programs for Xfinity Communities and online video digital advertising efforts. She is the recipient of marketing recognition from the Cable Fax Awards and Davey Awards. Jessica joins Comcast from i-CAT, a medical device operating company, within Danaher Corporation’s global dental technology segment, that focuses on the development & manufacturing of Cone Beam 3D Dental Imaging products. In her prior role, she was responsible for product launches, branding and demand generating marketing campaigns. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Temple University. Erica had joined NAAAP Philadelphia in 2009 as the Director of Member Services and helped the chapter nationally win Membership Growth of the Year in 2010.

Pauline graduated from the Temple University Fox School of Business with concentrations in Finance and Economics. She has held positions in both the community and commercial banks, including the former Wells Fargo Global Banking Group. Pauline currently works in the Wells Fargo Middle Market Bank covering the Metro Philadelphia and Delaware regions, where she aims to help customers succeed financially.
Active in the community, Pauline has previously served as the Director of Programing for NAAAP. Her passion is to cultivate Asian American leaders and youth empowerment. She also volunteered as a Big Sister through the Big Brother Big Sister (Independence) Program.

Lucy is currently working at the Office of Workforce Development, City of Philadelphia. She is responsible for a grant reimbursement for employers that hire returning citizens and focuses on the formulation and implementation of the immigrant workforce strategy. She received her M.A. in Finance from Peking University and is a certified Financial Risk Manager. She used to work in both the corporate and retail sectors at the largest bank in China for over two years before relocating to Philadelphia.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Health and Societies at UPenn with a concentration in public health. With over ten years of health research experience in the Department for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Annie has conducted both behavioral and clinical research in prostate cancer intervention, health informatics, obesity, asthma, and bone health. Her research interests focus on reducing health disparities through preventive and community health intervention.

Thi PhanCigna Corp - Senior VP and Chief Counsel
As Vice President and Chief Counsel of Corporate Law at Cigna, Thi is responsible for leadership of the Strategic Transactions, Mergers & Acquisitions, Information Technology law, Intellectual Property, Investment Management, Real Estate and Tax law functions at Cigna.
Thi joined Cigna in 2005 and has held various roles of increasing responsibility within the organization. Previous roles include Corporate Secretary with oversight of corporate governance, the securities and treasury law functions, including legal support on disclosure matters, capital financing transactions, insider trading and executive compensation.
Prior to joining Cigna, Thi spent a number of years in law firm practice at Cahill Gordon & Reindel and Drinker Biddle. Thi graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of the Arts in International Relations at the University of Pennsylvania. She received a Juris Doctor at the Columbia University School of Law where she was an editor of the School’s Law Review.

Tom FungTemple Fox School of Business - Professor
Tom is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management at the Fox School of Business, Temple University. Prior to his appointment at Temple, Tom served as Director of the M.S. Global Fashion Enterprise Program for 3 years at Philadelphia University.
Tom developed a plethora of eclectic interests over 29 years working in the consumer packaged goods industry. Travel is perhaps part of his DNA, as international assignments with Campbell Soup Company had taken him to Europe and Asia. Formerly, as Director of Operations for North American Foodservice Division, Tom managed all aspects of the supply chain, with direct impact to profit and loss. His corporate experience ranged from engineering, packaging, and operations management to strategic planning. He was a key liaison between product development and marketing, overseeing 30 manufacturing plants, supporting commercialization, business continuity planning, capital budgeting, technology assessment, and lean manufacturing practices.
Tom has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; MBA from Temple Fox School of Business, and MS in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania. He has served on the Temple University CIBER (Center for International Business Education & Research) Advisory Board, and was formerly the President of the Institute of Industrial Engineers of the Delaware Valley South Jersey Professional Chapter

Here she obtained experience setting direction for the seating division from inception of products globally to design and development to sales launch, marketing and sell through strategies for seating portfolio. Peggy has a proven track record building new organizations, achieving bottom-line results and developing talent. Peggy currently resides in the suburbs of Philadelphia.

David’s career has primarily been in the healthcare industry in such roles as new business development, account management, customer relationship management and most recently both talent acquisition and career development. Graduating with his Bachelor’s degree, he was initially recruited to join Marion Laboratories, one of Fortune Magazine’s “America’s most admired companies” in a professional pharmaceutical sales career. After winning numerous regional and national sales awards, being selected as a regional trainer and management development candidate, he continued his career selling surgical implants and capital equipment for Allergan and Picker Medical to some of our nation’s most prestigious academic institutions and surgeons in the Philadelphia region. He transitioned his career to an executive recruiter over a decade ago joining ECA Recruiters, a firm with nearly four decades of history of placing sales people and sales managers nationwide. In this role, David has developed dozens of Fortune 500 and start up clients, placed hundreds of individuals in new careers throughout the nation and is often a confidant and resource to those individuals seeking career guidance. David is also a very active community leader. He’s a current board member of the National Association of Asian American Professionals, Philadelphia Chapter.
For over a decade, he’s also been a volunteer leader with the Boy Scouts of America – Cradle of Liberty Council holding many roles, including an executive board member, Council Advancement Committee Chairman and an Assistant Scoutmaster. David also volunteers his time coaching community based baseball and football youth programs.
