Ping’s background is in Big 4 Accounting (EY and KPMG), and he brings over 15 years of corporate tax and finance management experience plus 6 years of client service and business development. He currently serves clients across industries, including financial services, healthcare, insurance, software, manufacturing, media, pharmaceutical, telecommunication, and not-for-profit.
Ping serves as Vice President for Robert Half's accounting and finance consulting division, Management Resources. Within this role, externally, he works with executive clients in the areas of accounting and finance on their senior-level hiring needs. Internally, he manages client relationships, marketing, and the implementation of strategies for revenue growth, as well as the development and execution of key strategic initiatives for his team’s operations.
Ping is passionate about giving back to the community and is an active board member and volunteer of various local and national nonprofit organizations. He is also a mentor to students at Drexel, Penn State, Rutgers, and Temple and guides students in terms of their studies and internship opportunities.
Ping grew up in Philadelphia, and he is a graduate of Drexel University. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting and Finance at Drexel University, and he also has a Master of Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting and Business Management from the Keller Management School of Business. Ping is fluent in Cantonese and proficient in Mandarin. Ping met his wife on their first day of college. They live in Bucks County with their two children and their dogs, Max and Cody.

David’s career has primarily been in the healthcare industry in such roles as new business development, account management, customer relationship management and most recently both talent acquisition and career development. Graduating with his Bachelor’s degree, he was initially recruited to join Marion Laboratories, one of Fortune Magazine’s “America’s most admired companies” in a professional pharmaceutical sales career. After winning numerous regional and national sales awards, being selected as a regional trainer and management development candidate, he continued his career selling surgical implants and capital equipment for Allergan and Picker Medical to some of our nation’s most prestigious academic institutions and surgeons in the Philadelphia region. He transitioned his career to an executive recruiter over a decade ago joining ECA Recruiters, a firm with nearly four decades of history of placing sales people and sales managers nationwide. In this role, David has developed dozens of Fortune 500 and start up clients, placed hundreds of individuals in new careers throughout the nation and is often a confidant and resource to those individuals seeking career guidance. David is also a very active community leader. He’s a current board member of the National Association of Asian American Professionals, Philadelphia Chapter.
For over a decade, he’s also been a volunteer leader with the Boy Scouts of America – Cradle of Liberty Council holding many roles, including an executive board member, Council Advancement Committee Chairman and an Assistant Scoutmaster. Edwin Empaynado is Board Certified in General Surgery, Board Certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. His focus of interest has been in minimally invasive surgery for the diagnosis and treatment of both benign and malignant diseases of the colon. Ed has serviced the South Jersey population with surgical privileges at Virtua Health System, Jefferson Health South Jersey, and Centennial Surgical Center. He is an active member of the Virtua Health Performance Improvement Committee and has been involved with Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine General Surgery Residency Program. Edwin is a managing partner in Advocare Colon and Rectal Surgical Specialists, a subdivision of Advocare, LLC, where he is the Care Center Vice President of two office locations in South Jersey. Ed is also active at the corporate level of Advocare, LLC, an independent, physician owned and governed multi-specialty medical organization with a footprint throughout New Jersey and Philadelphia metro area. He is currently a member of the Advocare Governance Committee and Board of Managers, as well as a former member of the Market Development Committee.
Edwin received his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from The Pennsylvania State University Eberly College of Science, where he also served as a teaching assistant in the Departments of Physiology and Histology. He earned a Medical Doctorate degree from UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School, Newark, NJ and completed a General Surgery internship/residency program at UMDNJ – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Brunswick, NJ. Alice FeiComcast - Vice President Human Resources - Organizational Capability
Alice is currently a Vice President of Human Resources focusing on Organizational Capability for Comcast Cable Headquarters in Philadelphia. In this role Alice is focused on organizational design, structure and optimization of the workforce by linking business strategies to the people processes and people interactions that accelerate collation and drive organizational effectiveness.
Prior to this role Alice was the Human Resources Business Partner for Cable HQ Content Acquisitions, Finance, Human Resources, and Military Affairs where she designed people strategies across these teams through talent management planning, diversity strategies and succession planning.
Alice also spent time leading HR for Comcast Spectacor whose core businesses include the Wells Fargo Center arena and complex, as well as a portfolio of professional sports teams that include the NHL’s Philadelphia Flyers. Additionally, Alice led HR for Spectra, a Hospitality firm specializing in Venue Management, Food Services & Hospitality.
Alice was born in Taipei, Taiwan before her family immigrated to the United States. She grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and has been in the Philadelphia area for almost 20 years.
Tom FungTemple Fox School of Business - Professor
Tom is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management at the Fox School of Business, Temple University. Prior to his appointment at Temple, Tom served as Director of the M.S. Global Fashion Enterprise Program for 3 years at Philadelphia University.
Tom developed a plethora of eclectic interests over 29 years working in the consumer packaged goods industry. Travel is perhaps part of his DNA, as international assignments with Campbell Soup Company had taken him to Europe and Asia. Formerly, as Director of Operations for North American Foodservice Division, Tom managed all aspects of the supply chain, with direct impact to profit and loss. His corporate experience ranged from engineering, packaging, and operations management to strategic planning. He was a key liaison between product development and marketing, overseeing 30 manufacturing plants, supporting commercialization, business continuity planning, capital budgeting, technology assessment, and lean manufacturing practices.
Tom has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; MBA from Temple Fox School of Business, and MS in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania. He has served on the Temple University CIBER (Center for International Business Education & Research) Advisory Board, and was formerly the President of the Institute of Industrial Engineers of the Delaware Valley South Jersey Professional Chapter

Ari Karpf is the managing partner of a multi-office law firm overseeing litigation in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. He is based in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Ari’s legal focus throughout his career has been in the areas of employment and civil rights litigation. While continually representing corporations during his legal career, he has primarily represented individuals. Ari is also a frequent author and lecturer. As recognition for his efforts, Thomson Reuters Asia received Diversity Strategy Award in 2014 from HR Excellence. He also received the Golden Globe Tigers: Leadership Award for Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility for his leadership and strategy for Thomson Reuters.
Prior to Thomson Reuters, Subarna was with Unilever, based in Singapore and London where he led the global external diversity relations, global diversity and inclusion communications, global diversity learning and flexibility programs. Under his leadership, Unilever won the prestigious 2013 Catalyst Award along with the European Diversity Award 2012, the Women in Leadership: China’s Most Friendly Employer 2012 and the WorkingMums.UK Employer of the Year Award 2012.
Prior to that, Subarna was a Workforce Diversity Director for Sodexo in North America, where he helped leaders develop and implement diversity and inclusion strategies for clients, customers and employees. He also provided strategic guidance to Sodexo’s eight Global Employee Resource Groups and Cross Market Diversity Council. He was also responsible for the overall program management for Diversity Business Leadership Summit, a premier annual diversity event for Sodexo attended by the top executives and clients across the Fortune 500 companies and managed 16 employees and $2 million budget.
Interestingly, Subarna’s career began in technology. He was previously a program manager for Marriott International, systems engineer for the Department of Defense and a computer intelligence specialist for the U.S. Army during Operation Desert Storm and Operation Restore Hope.
In the non-profit front, Subarna was an advisor to Nepa Nasa Pucha America, America Nepal Senior Community and America Nepal Society in Washington, D.C.
Subarna hold a Master’s in Business Administration from Temple University, Fox School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland.
He was born in Nepal, grew up in the U.S., and currently lives with his wife and daughter in Moorestown, New Jersey.
Tracey NguyenBaker Tilly Capital - Principal
Tracey Nguyen is a Principal at Baker Tilly Capital, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, a top 15 accounting and advisory firm. Tracey leads Baker Tilly’s Real Estate Project Finance practice in the East Region and she specializes in tax credits and incentives, including Opportunity Zones, New Markets Tax Credits, Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, Historic Tax Credits, and state and local incentives. Tracey is also a member of Baker Tilly’s National Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging for Success (DIBS) Steering Committee.
Prior to joining Baker Tilly, Tracey was a senior vice president with a commercial real estate development firm and private equity real estate fund, where she was responsible for strategic planning and implementing corporate growth initiatives, as well as sourcing, structuring and executing debt and equity financing, and overseeing asset management for the firm’s portfolio. Previously, Tracey was a partner at Cozen O’Connor, an Am Law 100 law firm in Philadelphia, where she focused her practice on commercial real estate and represented institutional and private investors, developers, REITs, lenders and borrowers in all matters of real estate, including acquisition, development, management, financing, leasing and sale. Tracey began her career in public accounting and also successfully completed the Pennsylvania CPA exam.
Tracey frequently presents nationally on the topics related to Opportunity Zones, Affordable Housing, and Community Development. She has been recognized by the Philadelphia Business Journal as a “40 under 40” winner and by Smart CEO Magazine as a Brava Award winner, which celebrates high-impact female business leaders.
Tracey earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Villanova University and her Juris Doctor and Masters of Business Administration from Villanova School of Law.

Min Park is Senior Director, Marketing at WuXi Advanced Therapies, and is responsible for leading all aspects of global marketing efforts and inside sales. He has over 20 years of experience in the life sciences industry – spanning small molecule, large molecule, innovative technologies, and cutting-edge cell and gene therapies – across progressively senior levels of responsibility in marketing, business development, and executive leadership. With a history of notable successes in managing growth-focused global teams, he has a proven command of marketing, sales force effectiveness, marketing/sales integration, product and brand management, and strategy. Previous to joining WuXi Advanced Therapies, he held senior roles at Abzena, Catalent, Samsung Biologics, DSM, PDI, and Warner-Lambert. He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Business Administration in Marketing from Montclair State University, and is bilingual in English and Korean.
